Skopelos Luxury Retreats: two holiday villas, Villa Antigone and Villa Politimi, on Skopelos, Greece.
Website design and set-up, Google Business Profiles, hosting and support.
01/2021 to 02/2026
WordPress, Sydney theme.
The project
In 2021, I designed and created skopelosluxuryvillas.gr from scratch in WordPress. This was before AI tools.
The site shows both villas. Guests can check availability and send a booking request.
What I did
- Designed and created the website in WordPress with the Sydney theme.
- Built seven pages: home, one page for each villa, booking, contact, a Skopelos guide and about us.
- Added photo galleries to the villa pages: 44 images for Villa Antigone and 49 for Villa Politimi.
- Made a booking page with an availability calendar and a request form.
- Created logo and visual identity concepts.
- Prepared the villa photos for the web.
- Added basic SEO.
- Added the villas' Booking.com Traveller Review Award badges.
- Set up the domain, hosting, SSL and business email.
The site
The seven pages of the site.
The site on a phone.
Google Business Profiles
I created and managed each villa's Google Business Profile. Villa Antigone's profile was created in 2021. Villa Politimi's was verified in 10/2021.
In 10/2026, Villa Antigone has 5.0 stars (10 reviews) and Villa Politimi has 5.0 stars (6 reviews).
Hosting, support and handover
I hosted, maintained and supported the site from 2021 to 2025. In 02/2026, I handed it over to the owner's new agency.
In 10/2026, the site is still live and unchanged.
