Immersive Heritage: 360-Degree Spherical Panoramas

January 1, 2006

Documenting monumental cultural landmarks and sacred spaces using multi-shot immersive panoramic photography.

A single frame can only capture a slice of a space. But inside a vaulted Byzantine church or standing in the center of a historic ruins site, the environment surrounds you completely.

Over twelve years, I documented significant cultural landmarks across the Mediterranean using 360-degree spherical panoramas. By capturing dozens of overlapping frames on a specialized panoramic head and stitching them together, I created immersive visual assets that let viewers look in any direction, preserving the spatial context of these monuments.
