For the Nicols Fashion lookbook, we bypassed the studio and headed directly to the docks and abandoned industrial zones of Thessaloniki. The contrast between raw, weathered concrete, rusted metal, and sleek modern fashion provided a powerful narrative backdrop.
Photographing outdoors in these harsh environments required adapting to shifting natural light, utilizing portable diffusers and filled strobes to balance the direct midday sun against the model's wardrobe.
