Craft in Detail: Wrought Iron & Timber Staircases

This architectural shoot in Retziki was all about capturing the intersection of two distinct materials: warm, textured timber and cold, custom-forged wrought iron. The railing, crafted by Iron4Bill, featured fluid, organic patterns that wrapped around a floating staircase.
My goal was to highlight the craftsmanship of the metalwork. I utilized meticulous strobe accents to catch the hammered texture of the iron, separating it from the background while retaining the natural grain of the wood and the clean tiling below.
