Eclectic Spaces: Photographing an Urban Pop-Art Airbnb

Architectural photography is often about clean lines and minimalist designs. But when I walked into this Thessaloniki apartment, I was met with a vibrant, high-energy retro aesthetic. Balancing pop-art colors, vintage posters, and eclectic textures in a compact urban space was an exciting challenge.
To capture the true feel of the apartment, I relied on ultra-wide angle perspectives to maximize the sense of space. More importantly, because of the high contrast between the dark interior corners and the brilliant Greek daylight streaming through the windows, I utilized detailed High Dynamic Range (HDR) exposure blending to preserve the details of both the shadows and highlights.
